Per OSHA, bleach should be included in both your job site and household hurricane preparation supplies. Adding bleach to water (and letting it sit for approximately 30 minutes) can disinfect the water, your hands, etc. It is important to mark this mix “DO NOT DRINK – bleach disinfected water”.
